Not so long ago solid-state stores (SSD) were considered as very important appendix of flesh-memory of type NAND. It was supposed even, that they will replace with themselves stores on rigid magnetic disks (though circumspect analysts left for HDD the right to a life). The pendulum has shaken in other party and SSD have appeared not so are attractive. For example, experts assert, that SSD for servers still the expensive.

There is also one more misfortune trapping SSD: technology Braidwood developed Intel, «it is probable, will constrain advancement SSD», consider in analytical company Objective Analysis. Under name Braidwood new attempt to place NAND on a system payment is covered. This technology urged to reduce loading time. Its first realisation is expected in sets of system logic Intel «fifth series». By the way, according to some information, the first representatives of a series will not support technology Braidwood.

In turn, Braidwood can win from desire of buyers to get SSD. Buying a system payment, the consumer considering possibility of purchase SSD, can prefer the model already equipped with NAND-memory: it will be cheaper, and will provide to it practically the same advantages, believe in Objective Analysis. Analysts do a conclusion: Braidwood the success and fast reception can wait, and for market SSD it can have unpleasant consequences.

However, it is not necessary to overestimate words of analysts: eventually, Intel and is large supplier SSD so in its interests so to build strategy of advancement of new technology and to segment the market that on it there was a place both for Braidwood, and for SSD.
