Users “Vkontakte.ru” are threatened with network "worm"

Among users of a popular social network “Vkontakte.ru” the dangerous network virus - "worm" extends.

The "worm" defined Dr. Web as Win32.HLLW.AntiDurov, dispatches from the infected cars to other users of a network “Vkontakte.ru” the reference to a picture in a format jpeg, the leader on a resource of the malefactor in a network the Internet (http://******.misecure.com/deti.jpg).

Actually the server transmits under this reference an executed file deti.scr which is directly network virus.

After star on the computer of a victim, the worm saves a picture which has caused curiosity of the careless user on a disk, and starts the regular application used in system for viewing of files jpeg. Having copied itself in a folder on a hard disk of the computer of a victim under a name svc.exe, "worm" is established in system as service Durov VKontakte Service and searches for the password to access to “Vkontakte.ru”. After a password finding, "worm" dispatches under all list of contacts of the suffered user all the same reference.

The virus leads to that 25 numbers of each month on the computer screen will be removed at 10:00 the following message (spelling is saved): "Paul Durov Rabotaja with" VKontakte. RU "you never raised the rating and consequently we have not received from you profit. For it your computer will be destroyed! If address to militia hardly will regret about it!", quotes RIA Novosti news agency company Dr message. We. Simultaneously with the advent of this message removal will begin with disk C of all files.

At this press release of founders of antiviruses, it is said, that administration "Вконтакте.ру" is already advised of "worm" and virus distribution practically managed to be terminated.
