The president of Ukraine have sent in dispatch//blog opening
President Victor Yushchenko has registered yesterday an account in social network Twitter. According to employees of secretary of the president, it has been done for pass of short messages and announcements about activity of the head of the state as existing dispatch works slowly. The presidential page is not intended for personal contact, but another registered on Twitter the user nevertheless has possibility to send to Victor Yushchenko the message.
Yesterday president Victor Yushchenko has opened the Internet representation in social network Twitter. The account of the head of the state http://twitter.com/President_UA under the maintenance reminds an official site www.president.gov.ua. On it in the short form messages from a presidential site referring to it are duplicated. Any record made personally mister Yushchenko, on a new page is not present.
Microblogersky service Twitter (from English to twitt – to "chirp") has been created in August, 2006. In 2008 in it one million users, including 3000 Russian-speaking (on a presidential microblog of the message are made in the Ukrainian language) has been registered. In Twitter already there are accounts of the ex-chairman of the Supreme Rada Arseny Jatsenjuka, the party leader of regions Victor Janukovicha, the US president of Barrack Obamyi and many western politicians. As has informed ‘ the head of the main service of an information policy of secretary of president Larissa Mudrak, Victor Yushchenko has agreed on microblog creation as account registration in social network Twitter "will allow to expand an audience". "Our database of dispatch works slowly and badly, therefore we have decided to use Twitter as an effective data carrier for transfer of short messages and announcements. It at all a blog, and a convenient Internet resource for an exchange of messages of type SMS", – madam Mudrak has told. As she said, the account is not intended for personal contact. "This official representation of the president in a network. Placing of comments in it is not provided", – she has noted.
Meanwhile the director for company Agora Ukraine development (the organisation which is engaged in creation of various sites) Makson Pugovsky has explained ‘, that the feedback with the head of the state in this case nevertheless exists. "Messages in Twitter do not appear in the form of comments. However the person directly conducting an account, can read the answer to a remark (the user who will want to leave the message, also should be registered on Twitter.–’)", – the mister Pugovsky has told. He has noticed, that network Twitter only starts to extend in Ukraine. "It is literally several weeks ago among the Ukrainian users there was an information about Twitter, and they began to be registered in large quantities in it", – the mister Pugovsky has informed.
