The ministry has again postponed 3G

The cabinet of Ukraine has once again postponed a question on introduction of communication of the third generation (3G, UMTS), the newspaper «Economic News» writes.

At corresponding meeting of the Government on October, 1st the question on entering of necessary changes in the plan of use of a radio-frequency resource has not been considered, though earlier this question has been included in the order of business.

According to journalists, meeting of the governmental committee on the same occasion on Octobe, 2nd should take place. However it also has not taken place.

The possible reason of failure of meetings experts named absence of first vice-premier Alexander Turchinova.

Let’s remind, that on October, 1st was a deadline which has established Ministry for giving of documents by departments on conversion and use of frequencies. For not clear reasons a question have removed from consideration.

According to journalists, next time the plan will be considered on October, 9th, 2008 However, exact date is not confirmed yet.
