Pioneer has presented new technology of processing of the image


The well-known manufacturer of plasma TVs company Pioneer has developed new technology of processing of the image under code name Fuga which will be used in TVs of new generation, informs CNews.

The new technology is directed on smooth and accurate reproduction of the picture which have been written down in poor quality. «While high-quality video passes the new processor, the poor quality signal essentially changes», - makes comments Tatsuya Sugimoto (Tatsuya Sugimoto) from Pioneer Display Product Planning Division. The new technology has been presented the selected circle of journalists at special press conference in company headquarters in Japan.

Actually in new system of processing of a signal the same becomes, as in TVs Toshiba Regza, capable to convert a signal of the standard permission in HD. Besides the SD-signal improvement of quality, the new technology increases depth of the image, increasing contrast. Participants of press action the result shown on pre-production models, rather has impressed. When new TV will appear on sale, is not spoken.

In current generation of plasma TVs Pioneer Kuro technology PureDrive is used.
