Under the company forecast eMarketer, in 2009 advertising incomes of social networks will fall to 3 % and will make $1,1 billion Earlier, in December, 2008, the company predicted to networks growth of incomes on 10,2 % to $1,3 billion
Network MySpace remains the leader on volume of advertising incomes, however its positions gradually weaken. In 2009 incomes MySpace of Internet advertising will fall to 15 % to $495 million At the same time, incomes of main competitor MySpace, Facebook, grow together with the size of an audience. It is expected, that in 2009 this social network will earn $230 million, that on 9 % above last year’s indicators. And by 2011 Facebook can already bypass MySpace on volume of the annual advertising incomes. In May, 2009 audience Facebook in the USA has made 70,3 million users whereas MySpace have visited 70,2 million persons.
