World sales of semiconductors in 2 quarter 2009 have made $51,7 billion is on 17 % more in comparison with the last quarter ($44,2 billion), confirms Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA).
However, at the same time, in comparison with 2 quarter 2008 when sales of semiconductors have reached a record point in $64,7 billion, it turns out, that for a year of sale have fallen to 20 %. In June 2009 gain for realisation of semi-conductor production has made $17,2 billion - on 3,7 % more than in May ($16,6 billion), but on 20 % more low in comparison with an indicator for June of last year ($21,6 billion). For the first half of the year of 2009 sales of semiconductors ($95,9 billion) have fallen to 25 % against data for the similar period last year ($127,5 billion).
