Corporation Sony has filled up a ruler of the devices for reading of electronic books by two new models which have received names Reader Pocket Edition (PRS-300) and Reader Touch Edition (PRS-600), writes «Kompyulenta».

The first novelty, PRS-300, is equipped by the 5-inch display executed on the basis of technology of "electronic ink» firms E-Ink. The screen having the permission 800h600 pikselov, about eight shades of grey colour are capable to display. 440 Mb of the integrated memory, under statements of developers, will suffice for storage approximately 350 books in an electronic format, and the storage battery will allow to work with the device in an independent mode about two weeks. Among other features of the reader it is possible to mention support of formats Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word, and also an adjusted font size.
