Microsoft and Novell mark two-year-old cooperation by release of new products

The high consumer demand and commercial success prove the chosen strategy of development.

Companies Microsoft and Novell, signed the five years\’ agreement on integration SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and Windows in November, 2006, observe a great demand on this business model, and mark success of the chosen strategy because of full compatibility of technical decisions and absence of problems with the rights to intellectual property.

Now the companies have presented to the market two new decisions. Program Microsoft System Centr Operations Manager 2007 preparing for an exit on the market in first half 2009 will be equipped by module Advanced Management Pack for SUSE Linux Enterprise. Advanced Management Pack Spain has already been presented at conference Tech Ed EMEA IT Professionals 2008 in Barcelona.

Advanced Management Pack for SUSE Linux Enterprise for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 expands cross-country-platform of possibility of management for Linux in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 and will allow to operate servers Windows and Linux from the uniform console, reducing thereby expenses for training of the personnel and service.

The beta version of a platform with an open code from Microsoft, under name Moonlight became one more novelty. It represents client Linux-realisation of technology Microsoft Silverlight, with the same high and functional media possibilities accessible now only to users Windows and Apple. Moonlight it will be presented in an easy approach as a superstructure of browser Firefox.

For this time users of joint products of the companies became more than 200 new clients, including, such as Alticor Inc., BP Oil International Ltd. And China Mobile Ltd which will receive certificates from Microsoft on the three-year expanded support for Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.
