Has increased the share in the market and the second-large manufacturer of cellular telephones Samsung. By the company it has been sold 42,4 million cellular telephones, and now it takes not 12,4 %, and 14,4 % of the market.
 
American Motorola continues to test serious difficulties that is reflected and in market position of the company. In first quarter 2008 Motorola it has been sold 29,9 million cellular telephones because of what the company share in the market has fallen from last year’s 18,4 % to 10,2 %.
 
Analysts Gartner consider, that this year the break-even sales level of cellular telephones will grow on 10-15 %. In the first quarter 2008 by manufacturers it has been realised 294,3 million cellular telephones, that on 13,6 % above last year’s indicators.
