Koreans have developed the OLED-screen in the thickness about human hair

Company Samsung has developed the OLED-screen in the thickness of 0,05 millimetres that corresponds to an average thickness of human hair, writes «Lenta.ru».

The screen has been shown at exhibition FPD International 2008.

The screen diagonal makes four inches. Its permission - 480h272 pixel, contrast - 100000:1, brightness - 200 kandel on square metre. The display reproduces all colours corresponding to the standard of colour TV NTSC.

At the heart of the screen the standard glass substrate lays. rganic light-emitting diodes were put on it by a dispersion method. Representatives Samsung have underlined, that the technology developed by them allows to make the OLED-screen is even more thin. However while they do not see in it sense.
