Intel plans to use interface Sugar in laptops Classmate PC

Company Intel plans to develop the own version of interface Sugar for laptops Classmate PC which basic target audience are children. New UI will base on the version used in other laptop for children OLPC XO. Cooperation with Intel will allow Sugar Labs, not to the commercial organisation on interface Sugar working out, to increase quantity of appendices for platforms with an open initial code.

Let’s remind, that head Sugar Labs Foundation Uolter of Bendery (Walter Bender), still announced one month ago that the organisation carris on negotiations with four manufacturers of computers, about maintenance with their user interface Sugar. Thus, as soon as possible it is possible to expect the cooperation announcement with the several companies, after all the market of laptops for children is very perspective.
