HP has developed technology of memory from 1970

In research laboratories of company Hewlett-Packard the new element of electronic schemes which existed before only in theory is created. Developers managed to create “memristor” (from English memory - memory and resistor - the resistor). The new microscopic system, according to HP, is capable in a root to change systems and methods of storage of electronic data, writes CyberSecurity.

The concept “Memristor” has been entered for the first time into use in far 1971 by the professor of the Californian university Leon CHua then the basic properties and indicators of this system have been described. However on realising this idea in practice, 37 years were required.

In HP say, that their novelty has had especially by time as many world manufacturers are now taken by working out of new types of electronic memory and energosberegayuschih technologies. "Depending on features of realisation the technology memristorov can find application as in digital systems, for example, in cameras or players, and in productive computer and server systems", - speak in HP.

As of today in most cases in digital systems flesh-memory versions, but under forecasts of experts are applied, after 2016-2017 it will gradually depart in history as has no the big stock of capacity and productivity. In laboratory HP in Has fallen-alto (sht California, the USA) researchers have constructed a working prototype memristora, having placed microscopic films dioksida the titan between two electrodes and have passed through them an electric current.
