Google updates satellite data on Google Maps
On cartographical service Google Maps the next wave of updatings of photographic data has begun. Traditionally updating will begin with the USA, then Europe, after that all other countries, including and Russia. Basic difference of new pictures consists in them bolshey resolution if earlier even the most detailed objects could not be less than 1,5 metres now pictures are increased to the permission 41sm, writes CyberSecurity.
At the same time, free users all the same cannot receive the image of objects in the size less than 1 metre as he company has the certain licence restrictions imposed by the government of the USA. But here commercial users can receive twice more exact images.
Pictures for Google Maps by means of the new companion GeoEye-1 which is in an orbit in height of 681 km, and removing its surface with a speed about 8 km/s are received. In Google say, that at GeoEye-1 the best resolution from all commercial companions attending to a geolocation. Objects only more than 60 are capable to remove the majority of competitors GeoEye-1 see
