Google plans to close three-dimensional social network Lively

Company Google namerena to close three-dimensional social network Lively which has been started in July, 2008, writes «Lenta.ru».

Network closing is planned on the end of December. As the reason of closing Lively the company named the desire to concentrate all forces on the basic products. It is Internet advertising, search and business appendices.

Three-dimensional social network Lively reminds game Second Life, but, unlike last, works directly in a browser after installation of a corresponding plug-in. User Lively can create the three-dimensional animated character and the virtual room which is analogue of page in usual social networks.

Lively it has been created by developers Google under own initiative thanks to a principle of work Google which says, that 20 % of working hours can be spent for personal projects.
