Google loses the rights on Gmail in Germany
Since June, 20th at attempt to come on site Gmail from Germany there is an inscription from which follows, that Google has not the right to render in the service country under mark Gmail.
On a site also it is informed, that now German Gmail places to mail.google.com address, and a hyperlink on this site Google to put it is forbidden.
The holder of mark G-Mail in Germany is German businessman Daniel Girsh (Daniel Giersch). For three years of proceedings it managed to prove, that Gmail and G-Mail are very similar and to seize at Gogle the right of use of trade mark Gmail in Germany.
Google has renamed into Germany Gmail in Google Mail in July, 2005. Now, according to the representative of the searcher, Google will not use a word "Gmail" in the materials, concerning e-mail in territory of Germany, writes citcity.ru
