In the current year Google has won first place in a rating (in 2007 - only the fourth), and Microsoft from the first place has moved on the tenth.

The second place in the list of 2008, as well as last year, was taken by the manufacturer of cosmetics and the goods for house Johnson and Johnson. The third line hasgot to company Intel (in 2007 it has taken 16 place).

The manufacturer of ready food General Mills, the manufacturer of cookies and chocolate Kraft Foods have entered into ten, investment fund of Warren Baffeta Berkshire Hathaway, corporation 3M, Coca-Cola and Honda also. In total 60 companies have got to a rating.

Harris Interactive evaluates reputation of the American corporations in two stages. At first 7105 Americans are offered to choose two companies with the best and the worst, in their opinion, reputation. After that about 20,5 thousand respondents evaluate the indicated corporations to 20 signs, including their social responsibility and quality of production.

It is necessary to notice, that in the beginning of June of a current year Google has taken the second place in the list of 600 largest world corporations with the best reputation. Japanese autoconcern Toyota became the leader of a rating. The rating made American Reputation Institute, is based on interrogation of 60 thousand persons in 27 countries of the world.
