Google has started a three-dimensional social network with animated characters

Company Google has started a three-dimensional social network with animated characters, is informed in an official blog of the searcher. The product is called Lively and in many respects reminds game Second Life, but, unlike last, works directly in a browser after installation of a corresponding plug-in, the Tape writes.
 
Users Lively are offered to create the three-dimensional animated character. For it it is possible to choose a floor, features, a hairdress and clothes. After a choice of the character it is necessary to isue the virtual room which is analogue of page in usual social networks.

For a room some templates to which it is possible to add various subjects of an interior are provided. For example, the TV showing to video with YouTube, frameworks with photos or furniture.

By means of the catalogue it is possible to move on rooms of various participants. During dialogue in rooms about each participant of dialogue there is "vial" with phrases, as in comics.

As well as in any social network, in Lively it is possible to get friends. For this purpose it is enough to invite users in the room.

Developers Lively underline, that the three-dimensional, animated social network has been created by them under own initiative thanks to a principle of work Google which states, that 20 percent of working hours can be spent for personal projects. Now Lively works only with browsers Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Lively is not the first three-dimensional social network. Earlier, on first of April a current year, three-dimensional social network RipLounge has been started. Its each user receives personal three-dimensional avatars, and can invite in a network of new friends. However tridimentionality is present only at characters while rooms are static prompts.
