Google has created service on search of the centres of a flu epidemic

Company Google has started service Google Flu Trends which will allow to trace in real time the flu epidemic centres in the USA, reports «Reuters».

Service work is based on the analysis of search inquiries. Google Flu Trends allows to learn, disease of a flu in this or that staff is how much high and to trace the general tendency of development of a situation on a certain time interval. Obtained data Google will transfer in the Center under the control of diseases and preventive maintenance of the USA (CDC).

«he principle of work Google Flu Trends consists that service uses the search inquiries in one way or another connected with a flu, and on the basis of results predicts disease level in this or that part of the USA», - representative CDC Lin Finelli has informed.

Modern procedure of work CDC is that, that employees of the centre use data about the diseases of a flu received directly from doctors to which patients with characteristic symptoms come. At such mode of work available at CDC the information lags behind a current situation approximately for 2 weeks.
