Gigabyte M700: UMPC, as the mobile media centre

Gigabyte has tried to show the «an exit for frameworks» in one of last IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) systems — models M700.

As already it was informed earlier, М700 works under control of Windows Vista Home Premium, weighs 650 g, it is equipped by the seven-inch touch display with the permission 1024 x 600, processor VIA of 1,2 GHz, new chipset VX800 (with built in graphic adapter Chrome 9), 1 GB operative memory (the maximum 2 GB), a hard disk of 1,8 inches on 40 GB or 60 GB, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, has the optcal mouse, skroll, the GPS-module, face-to-face and back video-chambers for a direct multiport conference.

The dock-station which goes in the complete set, comprises digital TV-tuner, an IPTV-streamer, various TV-inputs (depending on region, an analogue input — for the USA and DVB-T — for Europe), also other audio/videos inputs/exits, IR port, an optical drive, slot for cards SD. Thanks to transferred possibilities Р700 is, actually, the present personal mobile media centre.

For work with system Gigabyte has developed own ON so that now you can use not only preestablished Media Center OS from Microsoft.
