General Electric and Tatung will manufacture TVs
American corporation General Electric and Taiwan company Tatung have based joint venture General Displays and Technologies which since 2009 will start production of TVs of high clearness, transmits site CNews.
It is annually planned to manufacture not less than 2 million TVs and in the first year to take 1 % of the world market of these systems. In the subsequent the enterprise plans to increase the market share to 5-10 %.
The company will base in California. Some of components of TVs will gather in Mexico. According t Peter Vidfalda (Peter Weedfald) from General Displays and Technologies, it there will be TVs of a premium-class which can compete to products of world brands.
