Dell has reported for 1 quarter: $784 million profit
The world manufacturer of personal computers Dell has reported today for 1 quarter of a current year. The report of the manufacturer has appeared positive enough as the company has reported on growth of sales outside of the USA and on the American traders it has conceived effect - company shares have risen in price at once for 11 %, writes CyberSecurity.
Net profit Dell past quarter has made 784 million dollars (34 cents on the share), that on 3,7 % more last year’s given (756 million dollars). The Common benefit from work i the consumer market for the company for a year has grown on 20 %. Thanks to that sales in Asia at the manufacturer have grown on 19 %, and in Europe, Africa and in the Near East on 15 % the general gain Dell has made 16,1 mlrd dollars.
According to the chief financial executive of the company Donald Karti, last year’s returning in Michael Della’s company and its plan on adjustment of direct partner relations with world retail trade systems, such as Wal-Mart, already yields the fruits and Dell confidently reduces backlog from Hewlett-Packard. Michael Della’s program on partnership with retail trade systems has allowed to present company computers in 13 000 shops worldwide.
Analysts say, that Dell very much in time has strengthened the international items, as position in economy of the USA now far not the best.
Nevertheless, experts indicate one very important difference HP from Dell which gives the first significant advantage: if at Dell to 60 % of a turn-over it is necessary to the USA and 40 % on global sales at HP on the world market it is necessary to 75 % of sales, that in the given situation it is more successful for the company.
