Company "Frinet" plans to render services Triple Play under TM «O3»
Company "Frinet" has presented the new telecommunication operator «O3» which will render services Triple Play in territory to Ukraine, the correspondent «proIT» transfers.
Company "O3" is formed by absorption of the several companies owning local Ethernet-networks in Kiev.
According to the general director of company "Frinet" Victor Frolov, the new operator owns licences for fixed-line telephony granting in Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk, in particular, in Kiev the company has alrady received own number resource. The company also has licences for granting of services of access to network Ethernet in Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Sevastopol, Zhitomir, Simferopol, Lvov and Kharkov. In the near future the company plans to receive licences of the provider of program service.
According to the head of the company, it will allow «O3» to enter Triple Play already in the middle of 2009
Victor Frolov also has added, that now to a network of the operator «O3» is connected about 150 thousand domohozyaystv, and in 2009 in the company plan to increase this figure in 2 times.
Connection of subscribers of the company is spent on technology FTTB (Fiber-to-the-building) which means use of a fiber-optical cable from magistarnoy networks of the operator to a building in which the subscriber is located.
Company Cisco became the supplier of the equipment for granting of telecommunication services.
Let\’s remind, that service Triple Play includes services of broadband access to a network the Internet, IP-TV and voice communication service (VoIP).
