Company Psystar has submitted the counter claim against Apple

Company Psystar against which Apple brought an action in July 2008 in connection with patent infringement on Mac, has submitted the counter claim. Psystar accuses Apple of anti-trust legislation infringement.

In April 2008 company Psystar from SSHAnachala sales of clones of desktop computers Apple Mac. Computers had similar design and were sold with preestablished operating system Mac OS X Leopard. Thus their cost with a stuffing comparable to systems Apple, was in 5 times below the first copy. After some months, in the beginning f July, Apple has brought an action on Psystar in connection with infringement of the licence for the operating system. The matter is that Mac OS X it can be established only on the computers manufactured under brand Apple.

According to representatives Psystar, Apple abuses this item that allows it to establish overcharges on the computers. Company Carr and Ferrell which in 2006 has already carried case against Apple in cost $10 million, connected with infringement of patents attends to protection Psystar. According to observers, in case of loss Apple will lose much more, than can lose Psystar.
