Company Luxoft strengthens items in the Ukrainian market
In the end of September at a press briefing chiefs Luxoft declared expansion of activity of the company in Ukraine. At present Luxoft has representation in Kiev and the working out centres in Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk.
Dmitry Loshchinin, the president and general director Luxoft, has noticed, that in Ukraine is concentrated about 30 % of manpower Luxoft – competent experts to whom management the major strategic projects of the companies-clients is assigned. Thanks to it the Ukrainian division of the company for threeyears became vyisokokonkurentnyim igorokom the market of custom-made working out with an annual turnover of 50-60 million dollars (general annual turnover Luxoft makes about 150 million dollars).
Company Luxoft entering into holding IBS Group – one of the largest players in the outsourcing market ON. Headquarters Luxoft is in Moscow, and the industrial centres and representation offices are possessed in the North America, Central and the Eastern Europe, southeast Asia. Among customers Luxoft – Deutsche Bank, UBS, Boeing, Dell, IBM and others.
Dmitry Kushnir, the operating director «Luxoft Ukraine», has informed, that the market of Ukraine is already enough open for intensive introduction of services Luxoft. Already by the end of 2009 the company plans to expand the presence at region: to be focused on granting of services to the Ukrainian companies, to increase industrial platforms in Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk, and to transfer a management part to Ukraine.
Dmitry Loshchinin, also has not excluded possibility of complete transfer to Ukraine administrative structures of the company. As he said, political opposition of Russia and the West does not promote development of the market custom-made ON. Ukraine is interesting to this business, thanks to availability of big number IT-spetsialistov of a high class, affinity to the Western Europe and visa-free entry from the European Union and the North America.
On a question of the journalist of "Business" on how it was reflected in the market custom-made ON world financial crisis, Dmitry Loshchinin has informed, that the aspiration of the international financial structures to reduction of costs raises their interest in outsourcing of working out of the software. In particular, according to Loschinina, the largest Swiss investment house UBS AG has decided to reduce own workings out thanks to what its orders Luxoft for 2009 have grown, and only under them in Ukraine hundreds new jobs will be already created.
