Company DivX has brought an action on Yahoo
Company DivX, the manufacturer of the software for video compression, has submitted the judicial claim against Internet company Yahoo, accusing last in odnostronnem exits from the two-year-old advertising agreement. In DivX say, that agreement rupture will negatively affect financial results of the company for 2008 and 2009.
In the judicial documents submitted the company in the Supreme court of the State of California, it is said, that Yahoo and DivX have entered into the agreement in September, 2007. Now last demands from Yahoo compesation of a financial damage, writes CyberSecurity.
In Yahoo say, that worked with DivX on re-structuring of their agreement, however the parties and could not come to the consent. "Yahoo it is disappointed by decision DivX on a reference to the court, instead of discussion continuation. We namerenyi resolutely to defend the interests in court. More detailed comments will be after we will have a possibility to familiarise with the claim", - representative Yahoo has told.
