Cisco has presented new strategy of management by mobile communications for business
Till now IT Experts had to deal with set of diverse technologies which were hardly entered in existing structure of communication at the enterprise, added to this structure all new levels of complexity and at all did not simplify their work.
On May, 27th, 2008 Cisco declared the new product solving this problem. The given product unifies mobile communications and integrates them with other information systems. Cisco 3300 Series Mobility Services Engine opens to mobile employees of possibility of a corporate network and for the fist time allows to connect wireless networks with corporate computer systems closely. "We want, that mobile computers had access to intellectual network functions, - Alan Cohen (Alan Cohen), vice-president Cisco which is responsible for the decisions for the large and average enterprises speaks. - in process of development of business communications IT Experts should use more and more wireless communication effective remedies. We consider, that for mobile communication support it would be useful to involve existing resources of wire networks. Imeno this idea has laid down in a basis of our new architecture and new product Mobility Services Engine".
According to representatives Cisco, Mobility Services Engine - the flexible platform first in branch allowing the external companies to develop new tool means and the appendices for close integration of a mobile communication with all other corporate information infrastructure. According to A.Cohen, Cisco has already agreed with some brightest and known players of the information-technological and mobile markets (Agito Networks, Oracle, Johnson Controls, Nokia, Inner Wireless, Intellidot, Airtrak and Oat Systems) about working out of new products for interaction with Mobility Services Engine. First version Mobility Services Engine which can be ordered, since June, 2008, will support four program services: the context account, safety, interaction with cellular networks and networks Wi-Fi, and also management of other systems.
Main difference Mobility Services Engine, Cohen speaks, consists that management of services is separated from base network operations. It allows Cisco and to its customers easily and simply to modify base functions of support and to introduce new functions in process of development of mobile calculations.
