Cisco has finished process of acquisition of company Jabber

Company Cisco has finished process of acquisition of company Jabber Inc. (Denver, the USA). The company press-service has informed On it «proIT».

According to representatives Cisco, this acquisition will allow the company to realise functions of the control of availability and an exchange of messages in the form of network services that will allow users to choose the form of expansion of these services in a corporate network of office.

On termination of the transaction company Jabber was a part of division Cisco Colaboration Software Group (CSG) which is included, in turn, into working out department ON, responsible for all large program decisions Cisco, including network operational system Cisco IoSj, control facilities networks and services, decisions for the unified communications, managements of rules of high level (politicians) and uses of software as service (SaaS).

Cisco has got Jabber within the limits of the strategy build, buy, and partner («independent workings out, acquisitions and partner cooperation») which provides a fast exit on the new markets and use of all advantages arising during large market changes.
