Cisco and Pearson VUE introduce global decisions for struggle against swindle at examinations

Cisco and the global supplier of examination services – company Pearson VUE declared strengthening of protection of certified examinations Cisco that will raise their value and prestige.

Henceforth for identification examined and checks of the answers sent by them will be used digital photos. The new security measures installed since August, 1st, 2008, include:
 
• Use of photos in reports and the Internet. On termination of examination tests in the examination centre all candidates will receive interim reports with photos and unique identification codes. These codes can be used for access to official results of the given candidate on site Pearson VUE in 72 hours after examination. In the on-line report the photo of the candidate also will be used. After that candidates can give the reference to results of examination to the employers and other interested persons.
• ”the Police analysis”. Results of examinations and other data will be continuously investigated by means of the special software for revealing of signs of unusual behaviour and further more detailed investigation. If authenticity of results of examinations raises serious doubts they will be cancelled. Depending on a situation it will be offered to candidate to repeat examinations immediately or in a year. In some cases the candidate can be for life deprived the right to a repeating examinations.
• the Interim report about results of examinations. All income statements of examinations, raspechatannyie on a paper, will have preliminary character. After the termination of "the police analysis" (in 72 hours after examination) definitive official results will give all the best on a Web-site. After that candidates can take advantage of the identification codes for verification of results and photos.
