Chineses have opened the first factory on issue of OLED-panels

In China the first factory which will make OLED-panels is started in operation. Building lasted three years, as its initiators have acted Chinese university Tsingua (Tsinghua University) and the manufacturer of screens Visionox. The Total sum of investments into building and production start has made 73 million dollars.

The factory will specialise on issue of the small-sized OLED-displays intended for various mobile systems: cellular telephones, GPS-navigators, etc. the Annual output will make 12 million screens. In second half of 2009Visionox plans to start in China the second enterprise for issue of OLED-screens.

Till the moment of start of the Chinese production of OLED-screens, Japan and South Korea were the unique countries manufacturing such displays.

OLED-displays have a number of advantages in comparison with LCD-panels. They are more thin and it is easier than Zhk-displays, are very economic, as special illumination is not required to them, thus supply a better colour rendition. Furthermore, the image on OLED-displays is visible without loss of quality from any corner of a review. Nevertheless, while quantity production of such screens rather expensively.
