Charles Poup leaves a post of main chief financial executive Seagate

Seagate Technology declared that one of the most skilled members of executive company management Charles Poup, has made the decision to leave the post since August, 25th, 2008.

Mister Poup will concentrate on a management of division Seagate Services which is the in the lead supplier of decisions for management and protection of data.

For 24 years of work in company Seagate Mr. Poup took a number of financial and operational posts. The management of operations entered into sphere of its responsibility on merges and joinings portfelnyiy management, improvement of some business processes of the company and management of media operations Seagate. Appointment to the post of the main chief financial executive of the company in 1998 and acceptance of a management by division Seagate Services in 2008 became top of career for Mr. Poupa.

Patrick O’Melli (Patrick O’Malley) which holds now a post of senior vice-president Seagate under the finance (Finance Treasury) becomes successor Charles Poupa on a post of the main chief financial executive. Now the sphere of responsibility of Mr. O’Melli includes the corporate account, the reporting, department of cash operations and credit department, and also corporate financial planning, the analysis, a financial backing of business divisions of the company, department of sales etc. Since time of the arrival to company Seagate in 1988, Patrick O’Melli has acquired extensive experience which included introduction of the major financial and administrative systems, and also management of business division Consumer Electronics in the major first year.
