CDMA Ukraine will construct a wireless Ethernet-network of relaying of the mobile traffic on equipment Alcatel-Lucent

Alcatel-Lucent Has signed with ITC (TM CDMA Ukraine), the largest CDMA-operator of Ukraine, the contract on delivery of the complex decision on the basis of technology of wireless transfer of following generation.

The radio relay decision Alcatel-Lucent functioning in range SVCH, will help ITC to optimise granting of available services and to expand a spectrum of multimedia applications of a mobile communication of which can take advantage more than 130 thousand subscribers in 17 regions of Ukraine.

Delivered Alcatel-Lucen the Ethernet-relaying decision (backhaul) will as much as possible raise efficiency of a network, supplying its economic development and protection of current investments ITC. The project, which end is planned for the end of 2008, will help ITC to increase relaying capacity in network CDMA.

Decision Alcatel-Lucent will help us to grant at minimum operational costs new services with the raised efficiency and the maximum quality, - Dmitry Bushchik, the director for marketing ITC has told. – Besides, we can economically adapt our network for those requests to a pass-band which present innovative appendices”.

According to the contract, Alcatel-Lucent will deliver digital radio relay system SVCH of a range 9400 AWY for the organisation of boundary connections with the Ethernet-interface. Management of the decision will be carried out by means of complex Alcatel-Lucent 1350.

This contract once again confirms competence and experience Alcatel-Lucent in realisation of inquiries of operators of a mobile communication and possibility of profitable scaling of networks CDMA and GSM/UMTS – from cellular knots to a basic network at significant decrease in operational costs. Alcatel-Lucent supports various variants of transportation of a signal, guaranteeing development of any infrastructure (a copper cable, an optical fiber, a wireless communication) with the integrated through management in the fixed and mobile networks.
