The Internet all gets into specific spheres of a human life and first sign of more deeply that a certain area receives those or other prospects and advantages from the point of view of manufacturers, there is an occurrence in this sphere of own domain zone. So was in the beginning 2000 when there was a boom of air freights, there was also a domain zone.aero and in 2006 when almost all mobile phones have learnt to work with a global network, there was a zone.mobi, in 2007 on peak of economic growth of the Asian region there was a zone.asia.>

Now time for an exit in a global network of cars has come. Modern avto become more and more similar to computers on wheels and even more to justify this comparison, company ATX Group, the largest world manufacturer of services for automobile telemetry and information services for automobile computing systems, today has proposed creation of a domain zone.car, intended for automobile computer systems.

According to representatives ATX Group, the zone.car should become some kind of analogue of a zone mobi which is intended only for mobile systems. The zone.car also should be limited and accessible only from automobile computers, navigating systems and all communication electronics. For new zone ATX suggests to create own "automobile" web standards which will consider, on the one hand, features of automobile computers, and with other - will be initially created with availability of necessary concepts of safety that cars have not turned to the desired purposes for hackers and virus writers.

As of today support of offer ATX declared association Connected Vehicle Trade Association, however with allowance for that ATX is the supplier of decisions for leading autoconcerns, there are strong reasons to believe, that support to a zone.car will be rendered by such automobile giants, as Ford, BMW and Chrysler.

Earlier in ATX already have created the preliminary version of web standards of display of an Internet content for screens of automobile systems, however with more studied and a detailed plan the company will act in October of this year at automobile conference SAE Convergence 2008 in the American Detroit.

"Now we wish to involve in discussion of all market participants and professionals. We wish to conduct with all absolutely opened, but the structured dialogue", - John Makkormik, representative Connected Vehicle Trade Association speaks.

Besides a usual network content, the zone.car should contain also the information from manufacturers of the cars, concerning diagnostics of all systems, various telemetering indicators and, probably, navigating and help information.

"Creation of this zone will require availability of special sites. From the point of view of the concept, these sites will be a certain analogue of sites which formed in due course for mobile phones", - Steve Millshtajn, chief executive ATX Group explains .

Experts see in introduction of this zone both positive and negative factors. On the one hand, in many cases possibility to contact the manufacturer of the car in real time at detection of any problems with the car sees the blessing, on the other hand many drivers cannot give up to themselves in pleasure to check up mail or on fast to see this or that site while the car flies on highway and here accident rate raises considerably.

In ATX say, that for the decision of the last problem in automobile systems it is necessary to build in set of protective systems which, for example, will make possible viewing of sites during driving only for passengers of back seats, writes CyberSecurity.
