Bill Gates is intended to supply the Ukrainian libraries with access to the Internet

In Ukraine introduction of the big project of Fund of Bill and Melindy Gates about access granting to the Internet in public libraries is planned. On it in interview to a portal «AMI News-ukraina» were informed the General director of National parliamentary library of Ukraine (NPBU) by Tamara Vilegzhanina.

As she said, now in Ukraine to the Internet the greatest libraries are connected only. At level of urban, regional libraries the Internet already is, but in a countryside with it a problem.

«Thanks to his project, and also, I think, to state support, in public libraries of a countryside there will be an access to the Internet. In Ukraine already exist about 130 Internet centres including in rural libraries of the Rovno and Ternopol areas which are created at support of embassy of the USA», - has added Vilegzhanina.
