The Russian cellular operator of Open Society "Vympelcom", whose branch are URS, refers to inconsistency of actions of employees, and specifies in absence of commercial arrangements with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the same time in department of NATO the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine assert, that all agreements with URS have been reached. Now the Ukrainian foreign policy department searches the new partner for a quiz.

The Press-secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vasily Kirilich has informed yesterday, what the operator of a mobile communication «the Ukrainian radio systems» (TM Beeline) has refused technical support of a SMS quiz «That you know about NATO?», starting last week. «We have suspended carrying out of the action with this operator. But we carry on active negotiations on carrying out of this action with other operators», – mister Kirilich has declared.

The SMS quiz has been declared within the limits of an advertising campaign of the introduction of Ukraine in NATO. Participants of a quiz were supposed to set 15 thematic questions. Winners were waited by a prize in the form of a trip to Bruxelles where there is an alliance headquarters. The technical partner of the action the Ministry of Foreign Affairs named affiliated company of the Russian operator "Vympelcom" – «the Ukrainian radio systems».

Occurrence of the information that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine together with company URS carries out the action on informing of the population on NATO at once has caused rough reaction in the Russian mass-media. In particular, last week known Russian TV presenter Michael Leontev has actually urged the Russian authorities to "strangle" Beeline, having underlined, that during an economic crisis to destroy the company it is possible. In the Ukrainian mass-media there were messages that «Russian community of Sevastopol» has urged to declare boycott Beeline, and especially active sevastopoltsyi on Friday even have arranged indicative burning of hundred starting packages of the cellular operator.

When business has taken such turn, URS have refused participation in the action. «To continue a quiz they explain the refusal ґ non-observance of some procedural norms in the company during decision-making ґ. Meanwhile Vadim Pristajko asserts, that all agreements with URS about quiz carrying out have been reached: «Any problems has not arisen. For the commercial company carrying out of such action does not mean any losses». Moreover, as he said, the company could earn not bad. «At the first stage of carrying out of the action it was supposed to dispatch 50 thousand sms with the invitation to take part in a quiz. If subscribers in the answer have sent on one sms, the company would receive 100 thousand grn. Here and commercial sense», – mister Pristajko speaks.

It is necessary to notice, that in URS in advance have familiarised with the list of questions to a quiz – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent to its company management. «Objections has not followed», – the deputy director of department of NATO has told ‘, having underlined, that the ministry counts on cooperation with mobile operators which «will not be frightened of the first hail». «It is especially good, if it is the Ukrainian company», – Vadim Pristajko has added.
