AMD in figures for the accounting period
Income AMD for the second quarter 2009 has made 1,184 mlrd US dollars. It approximately corresponds to level of the first quarter 2009 and on 13 % less, than in the second quarter 2008.
In the second quarter 2009 pure loss AMD has made 330 million US dollar (or 0,49 dollars on the action for holders of usual actions), including favorable influence at a rate of 86 million US dollar (or 0,13 dollars on the action), mainly, thanks to sales of the written off equipment in the fourth financial quarter 2008. Operational loss AMD has made 249 million US dollar.
In the first quarter 2009 income AMD made 1,177 mlrd US dollar, the pure loss carried to holders of usual actions AMD – 416 million US dollar and the operational loss – 298 million US dollar. In the second quarter 2008 income AMD of proceeding operations made 1,362 mlrd US dollar, the pure loss carried to holders of usual actions AMD – 1,195 mlrd US dollar and the operational loss – 569 million US dollar.
Total profit AMD in the second quarter 2009 has made 37 %, including +8 % from profit at a rate of 98 million US dollar for sale of the equipment which has been written off in the fourth quarter 2008. Total profit AMD in the first quarter 2009 made 43 %, including +5 % from profit at a rate of 64 million US dollar for sale of the equipment which has been written off in the fourth quarter 2008. Total profit AMD Product Company not on GAAP in the second quarter 2009 has made 27 % in comparison with 35 % last quarter.
