The international association of Internet advertising (Interactive Advertising Bureau, IAB) has suggested to accept the new communication standard of video advertising under name VAST - Digital Video Ad Serving Template.

If representatives of the industry agree with offer IAB, the standard will establish the general protocol between various videoplayers and video advertising networks on all Internet.
