Turkcell will pay $500 million for 80 % of share BeST

Turkish company Turkcell will pay to the Belarus government $500 million for 80 % of share BeST.

Thus $300 million will be transferred within 30 days after agreement signing, $100 million within 2009 and $ more 100 million in 2010.

Different sources result the inconsistent information on the figures connected with Turkcell. BelTA indicates, that Turkcell it is ready to invest $400 million in a company infrastructure. Reuters informs, that this figure will make $500 million
