Хеrox has presented an erased "clever" paper
The research division of company Xerox has presented the last working out - an erased "clever" paper. "Clever" paper Xerox is intended for repeated use as the text printed on it automatically is destroyed after equal days after the press. According to Eric Schrцder, the researcher of Center Herox in Has fallen-alto (California) PARC, one sheet of paper can be used to several hundreds times.
Let’s notice, that Research centre Xerox in Has fallen-alto is hardly probable not the most known research establishment in te IT Environment of the USA. Here the first graphic computer interface, the computer mouse, network technology Ethernet and other technologies which have become already habitual by all and systems have been in the seventies developed. Today the centre generally specialises on technologies of the press and the innovations connected with them. In particular, the company has serious operating time in the field of protection of electronic documents.
Schrцder has reminded, that in 70-80th years many experts predicted complete disappearance of a paper at the expense of introduction of electronic document circulation, but till now it and has not occurred. Daily each printer working in the world on the average prints about 5 sheets in day are there can be electronic messages, web pages and other data which in some hours or days lose the urgency, and the paper on which they are printed, departs to a garbage basket.
"The reusable paper for hundreds thousand offices becomes the present find, it is capable to lower expenses and considerably to raise convenience of work, besides," clever "the paper is harmless and allows to save up ten millions trees on all planet", - Schrцder speaks.
The paper consists of the special patented material which is outwardly almost indistinguishable from usual office sheets A4, however in a reality the "clever" paper consists of molecules which interact with the ultra-violet light radiated by the printer. After the lapse of 24 hours of a molecule come back in a starting position about an inscription "is erased". Other variant of a paper provides thermal effect on molecules.
In Xerox say, that at present this working out is optimised only for the black-and-white press, however over a colour variant in the company also work.
Earlier in the company also have developed technology of drawing of fluorescent signs with use of usual digital printers.
Fluorescent strips – one of the most widespread methods of acknowledgement of authenticity of bank notes. The decision offered Xerox, supplies similar level of protection of any printing document without use of special ink.
The technology is based on selective use of fluorescent properties of the paper shown at the press on the digital quadricolour printer that allows to put fluorescent marks or codes, visible only at ultra-violet illumination. For their drawing specially developed combination of the usual "dry" ink which is already available in standard cartridges for xerographic printers is used, informs CyberSecurity.
